Looking for an Adamas 12-string. I have available for trade a Martin J12-16GT and case in "as new" condition for trade. I also would consider exchanging new Guild D40 (with D-TAR) pick-up. Please email at jitcush@yahoo.ca .
Thanks,
Jeff |

My suggestion would be to sell your Martin and Guild guitars outright on ebay and buy an Adamas U681-12 string. Finding someome who'll trade away his adamas 12 for a martin, well ... I guess it could happen. Wait, was that a monkey that just flew out of my ass? Nope, must have been something else ...
No disrespect to your guitar. I'm a huge Martin fan and in general I think Ovation can only dream of ever building guitars as nice as Martin. Except for 12-strings. That's where Ovation (adamas) is king of the hill. But I guess you know that based on the trade you are looking for.
Good luck,
Dave |

;)
(Sorry, nothing to add on topic. Just trying to catch Schroeder on the post count thing. :p ) |

I guess we're done talking about guitars in this thread, sorry Jeff.

Location: Midland, MI | FWIW, Dave, I have great respect for your opinion on Ovation and Martin guitars. Further, I think your reply to the OP was logical and made sense to me.
Did you know she was in Sigmund and the Sea Monsters?
EDIT:
And, because your post seemed so logical, I can't imagine anyone else offering better advice. So, the un-topical posts of cliffy and I serve only to keep the thread from falling off the first page...thereby increasing the odds that the OPs offer will be seen by more people and that your sage advice will gain further exposure. Win-win-win. :) |

I have a near mint 1985 Ovation Collector series 12-string. Shallow body, no fret wear or issues. Sounds and plays great. I would trade for your Guild D40 if your interested. I have pics I can send you.

Thanks for your response concerning the 12 string. Although I'm really looking for something with at least a mid-depth body, I'd like to see pictures of your Collector's.
