Very similar headstock to this one, minus the binding.

Dave bought the CW-28Bs/b
I may have to have Debanjo go look at this one if it's got a wide neck unless someone else buys it first. |

Anyway, guess we will find out next week. |

Location: CT | The sides of the top match each other, but I thought the better quality spruce had tight grain consistent throuout. This one's tight on the edge, then the grains get wider, then they tighten up again. Is that normal? My C.L. has pretty much the same width between all the grains. |

When I decided to downsize I went with the philosophy of fewer guitars but higher quality and variance of sound. The Tak, Martin, and Adamas are all wonderful guitars that sound different. I have a feeling the Collings is gonna fit right in the  crowd.
Once I find and add a Lowden, I think I will be finished for a while ;) . |

I would have liked it a little lighter but Bill doesn't make many of these and this has a nice wide neck and this was an early one hand built by him. I should get it next week. |
