| Is this piece still available and will it fit a 1973-1975 deacon?

I have lost track of this post so I'll try to update with what I know is available and add a modicum of semi-related items as well.
The Brass (Gold colored) Bridge is in the hands of Mr. Golf.
All of the solidbody stud mounts utilize a .500" 28 TPI socket for a .500" 28 TPI stud.
The stud spacing is 3 1/4", same as Gibson for the most part.
Newer manufacturers use the smaller diameter studs so you will need to plug and redrill or - as I have done twice - epoxy the smaller stud into the existing .500" spot.
I have used an adapter plate to mount a narrower Tune-o-matic bridge.
This allowed me to do a "string thru"!
The bridge posts for the one-piece are different than those of the Brass/Plastic ones.
I need to dig into the pile for Aussie James and see what I have in the shiny gold department.
www.stewmac.com
has schematics on all of what they sell. |

| Would like to find a drop in replacement for my deacon like the brass one Mr Golf now posesses or the chrome/gold saddle one on the lower picture.

Location: Upper Left USA | Customer service has new ones - at the new price.
Used is hit or miss and seperate on Ebay go from $40-$90 depending on how many of the BFLG are on vacation.
I prefer the one piece over the Brass/Plastic by far. |

| I called stewmac customer service today. They did not have either of the schaller bridges shown above. I called ovation hoping to purchase a new one but they do not have any parts to support the deacon.
I am still looking for either the gold one or the chrome/brass shown above. If anyone can help please post.
