Who's the seller?

"47RI" is a term that I coined a long time ago and gets bantered around the OFC as gospel. I doubt a non-member, or non-lurker would just happen to come up with that accronym on his own.

The asking price is quite reasonable for such a great guitar. Hope someone here grabs it.

I wish people would wait a couple years till the heat dissipates at my house. I do seriously like how he or she put the red blanket behind the guitar. Seems to really bring out the color of the guitar.

It's someone that Al has mentioned in the past - I forgot his name. It's a high serial number - like 86 or 87.

is it common for someone in Philly to post a sale on Hawaii's craigslist or is this just good marketing? If he is one of us....why not post it here?

Oops! Sorry - there's one on the Philly Craigslist as well. I glossed over the "Honalulu" part.

My bad.

Ok... upon further review, I'm not losing my mind! The topic says Philly while the link says Honolulu.

Doh!

jimmy,
many folks post their items in several major city craigslists. jenny had posted the 1688 musicmike just bought in the honolulu craigslist several months ago also.

Probably. Based on the carpet, that would not be a surprise. Dave

The sellers name is Elias. I've seen his name mentioned here before.

Bobbo, do a search on one of the two well known sites - I am sure you'll find it.

You'll find one of the carpets as well.

Hope someone here grabs it. These will only become more and more difficult to pry out of owners hands as the years pass. Dave

Not so fast Cliff. That guitar's not going anywhere unless I can find somebody else with the name of Witco. Plus, I've owned that guitar for over a year. It's like a coma. Once you pass that first year milestone you're probably in it for good.

Signed, Sarah Scantlin
