I don't think there's been much discussion of the four string version. Maybe the headstock broke and this was all that could be salvaged?

Shows how much I pay attention. I didn't look at the pictures. Yes, they cut the top of the headstock off (there is room now for 5 tuners), and they removed the two end rollers on the trem.

Would be easy to restore if someone knew who has a boatload of original parts including necks and trem parts......... oh.. wait.. that's me.
