Location: New Jersey, USA | I just got this guitar a couple of weeks ago, but I'm sampling Ovations to find the perfect guitars for me. And I'm the guy who just bit on gh1's KOALA. So...
This guitar is a 1989 deep bowl with the OP-24 (serial #386218) and is marked with the dreaded FRG sticker inside, which is there since new. I bought it from the original owner. It's just like the Nakao model with abalone purfling on the *fretboard* in addition to all the other bling. A truly stunning guitar.

It is near mint with the high F# (14th fret E string) buzzing a little bit, but low and very nice action up and down. I've recorded it a bunch and shared the clips in several posts here at the OFC. It comes with a non-Ovation hardshell case.
I just paid $1139 overall for this guitar, so I'd like to clear $1000 for her. Let's say $1K plus actual insured shipping charges ($30-60 usually). I will accept PayPal. I have 100% Ebay feedback as ravat51.

Just today I received a promise from a guy who plans to send me a cashier's check for the guitar. It's currently sold pending payment. However, I have a little bit of uneasiness about the buyer for reasons that I won't go into, so I will keep you in mind. Thanks for your interest! |
