Location: CT | Up for sale is a very pretty Ovation LX SERIES Standard Elite-Model 6778 LX, in excellent condition. I’d like to get $700 for it. With OHSC and paperwork.
Here are a few pictures:

I can take more photos if anyone is interested in it.
I bought this as a second guitar. I have discovered I’m not real fond of the round back. I had it set up when I bought it this last spring. It’s a super easy player, and sounds great (even better plugged in). Selling it in order to help fund another guitar purchase.
LX SERIES Standard Elite-Model 6778 SPECS:
6-String Acoustic/Electric with built-in tuner
Body Type: Mid-Depth Bowl
Top: A Grade Solid Sitka Spruce
Bracing: Scalloped LX
Scale Length: 25 1/4"
Fretboard: Bound Rosewood
Fret Inlay: Dots and Diamonds
Bridge: Rosewood
Rosette: Inlaid Epaulets
Pickup: Original Patented Pickups
Nutwidth: 1 11/16"
Machines: Chrome
Let me know guys, if my price is way off. I did pay $750 for it just last spring. I do need to keep this guitar until Nov 10 (gig). Located in CT. I have not sold here before but I have on the UMGF (Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum) where I go by Vancat2.
Thanks!

Location: closely held secret | Interesting. I didn't know they were making single-eppy 6778's.
Nice looking guitar. I don't think the price is that far off, it's just that there seems to be a lot of Elite LX's on the market right now. I would try eBay, it's unusual enough that you could get some interest.
How can you live in CT and not like roundbacks? :D |

Location: CT | Hi there waskelly wabbit!
I do like 'em....they just slip offa me!
Yep. they are made right nearby. Although I just heard Kaman sold their music division to Fender.
Yeah, you know I couldn't find a trace of one like it on their website...precisely why I liked it (the single eppy).
There's just this Larrivee that I am totally GASsing for, and I'm trying to fund it. My main gee-tar is a Martin 000C-16RGTE.
I figured the Ovation site would be the best place to put it up...I'm not too thrilled with eBay. |

Location: Utah | Very pretty guitar! If it only had a contour back, though, it'd be under my Christmas tree.
Bumps ok, but limited to less than one per minute! |

Location: Utah | What's on the label? I've never seen a 6778 with only bass side plain eppaulettes. |

Location: Utah | Ah, correction. That's the Vintage Natural finish. Someone was advertising it last year, and now the 2007 Collectors has the same look. Which I like despite some saying it is boring.
Looks like victorlitz is selling a couple of brand new ones for $825, and several used on eBay for about what you're asking. |

Location: Keller, TX | It is just currently a buyer's market. Has been for a few months. We have seen a glut of used USA Ovations lately. I just recently sold a Legend 1777LX for a significant discount. You (and I) just picked the wrong time of year to sell.
Hopefully the market will turn around as Christmas is approaching. Hopefully. |

Since most of the US population is Fat,
it is becoming Standard Equipment.

Location: GA USA | I wish I had (anything) in the guitar fund right now. This is just the kind of guitar I'd like for my main acoustic... single epi, cutaway. I played an Elite T (again) at GC yesterday. This looks like everything I want in the Elite T, with better looks.
Good luck. |

Location: Utah | Just a follow up to say that Penny, AKA Vancat, is a great person to buy from. The guitar is in great condition, just as advertised. She packed the instrument very well for shipping so that it arrived intact. I would happily do business with her again.
Vancat, don't be a stranger around here even if you are O-less. |
