| This 1617 Legend in burst looks really nice, and with just a few hours to go it's still under $300. I got one a couple months ago and it's become my goto guitar. It's a boomer, and the ZillaFest attendees played it & liked it. This would make a good get for someone here. |

Location: CT | What's with the Label? Why is it a Special Guitar and what does the SS mean, because the bowl isn't super shallow. Different shade burst maybe? |

| Looks like it might be a mid-depth bowl. Plus the neck is all black (can't see the skunk stripe), unlike the burst neck on mine. Still, a great price right now. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | The label indicates a non-production guitar. The s/n is actually the date it was made ie June 16, 1981.
My guess is that the model number actually says 5S, not SS. Maybe 5S means a black edged sunburst ??? Just a guess.
