Location: California | Hi everyone. I have a 1121-4 that is in pretty good shape for its age. The ringer on this guitar is that it's serial #000079 which places it in the first part of production in 1972. Will post pic's if there is an intrest. Thanks, Dan. |

Get the hint? We like pics here! :D |

I concentrated very very very hard , reprinted the instuctions from brainslag and remembered the extraordinarily compex set of things that need to be done to get a picture up and i realised that i just forgot one tiny weeny detail in the process, but thanks for your support weaser, i think we have

You must not have read my follow-up where I stated the corporate higher ups do not allow us to download any software to work computers..(remember the midget dungeon porn thing?). So I cant get updated Quicktime plug-ins. I KNOW HOW TO WORK THE FREAKIN' VOLUME BUTTON!!! (still dont know what that other one next to it does - something about tone?)
Glad the instuctions helped, did I leave something out since it takes a few tries??
Oh, its a guitar post?? OK, umm... Nice guitar! Pics help alot.. What's the asking price? |

24 hrs and not a single response from anyone leads me to think $600 is way too steep. ok then, what's it worth?
BTW, the pic's of the dings are the only ones on the guitar- two on the top and one longer one on the back of the neck |

| 3 pencil tip dings on a 35 year old top, no cracks or checking, and a ding on the back of the neck.. not bad considering it's age. and they look like a little cya and diy work and they'd be almost invisible.
not a fan of the artist depth, but what do I know...
bet it sounds nice, it's worth what you're willing to let it go for..
I'm not the price cop today... but it does look nice and that is a LOW ser #
good luck with the sale.

Location: SoCal | $400 with shipping is a pretty good price for these old guitars. New, they went for $325 w/ case, so you may still be a little high.
I'm constantly watching for my old Artist to show up. Same vintage as yours, purchased in the fall of '72. I'll know it because one of the ears on the headstock was replaced. I sold it 30 years ago to buy a Legend. It's probably in the scrape pile by now..... |

| kidney bean Grovers, that IS an early one..
looks nice.
is that just finish checking where hs joins neck or has that neck been repaired? looks like the back of my balladeer, and just finish cracks, but mine has the nylon(black)/chrome Schallers.
same cracks in the finish on mine(if no repairs) and they haven't moved in the 7 years I've had it.
bet this one sounds pretty good.

GH The cracks are just in the finish coat. There are also some where the neck joins the body. My guess is that someone put heavy's on it and left them. The guitar has been in my possession forr a few years now and they haven't gotten any worse, although I did put Elixer Lights on it. Ya, I really like the old school kidney bean tuners too! The sound of this guitar is amazing and I am sure it will only get better with time. The finish checking on the long grain on the top of the guitar has to be seen in person to appreciate. Thanks for the comments!!
