The 6 string is already gone, and the 12 probably will be when Mike sees it. |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Hey all: yes, it is a bit pricey, I admit...but it is so rare, and strikingly beautiful, and MINT w/coa and hang tags...well, if any of the Ovations are going to go up in value, it will be this guitar I really have no doubt. One of only 392 made! I have seen only one or maybe two in all the years I have been EBaying and have never seen one in person: I did have a duo with a friend in 1988 who had the six string model.
SSB, OP-24, Abalone Roseete and inlays, ;)
Now for a really outrageous price, here is this one (no, I will not be bidding): 1985-12
I also really liked this, but don't play electric 12's much: I am mainly A/E...so someone here should grab this if they can: Preacher Deluxe 12
Well, the seller and I have exchanged emails and this should be here by the end of the week. I'll post pic's (if its not too cold, I'll take them outside) and my thoughts asap! I must admit, I had looked at this earlier in the week, but Wabbit made me look again...thanks bro!
Now, Carry On! :D |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | FYI: the retail price for this guitar, 2986-6, in 1986 was $1195.00...it is Mint in the case w/all original hang tags, COA, etc.; si in essence its a great deal: think what $1195 in 1986 dollars is worth today...
I'm happy and like I said, try to find another...Thanks Arnaud (how is your 1868 doing?) and James: all the best towards trying to get the PD 12... |
