I need the pickup for a Legend with the OP24+C preamp. I have contacted Al, but thought I'd troll this board in the meantime.

Thanks, g8r.

I've been asked whether I need a thinline pickup, or standard. I've only seen the new thinner pickup saddle on Legends from when this preamp made its debut. What am I missing?

Hey Paul - on one guitar (CP2002) with an OP24, it has a thinline saddle (~1/8" across the top). My 1869, however, with an OP24+, has the larger size saddle (~9/32" across the top), same as my single knobber 1615 and two-knobber 1617. I guess it all depends on the grove routed in the bridge since the plug end of the wire that connects to the preamp is the same in both.

Unfortunately, I only have on hand as an extra the larger size saddle/pickup assembly. If Al can't help you out, contact JB or KK; I got a replacement from them (larger size) just recently.

Kim Keller advises me that this pickup was only used for a year or two. It's a CP-1000 pickup.
