I had a blue snakeskin, a red one and a black one.

Sold them all eventually but they were a lot of fun to play and sounded pretty darn good.

I don't think it's floating. There's a pretty thick clearcoat on these skin tops. I think that's an illusion that just makes it look like there is a gap between the board and the skin. Dave
