Hey everyone, I am trying to restore my Dad's Tornado 1212 guitar, and I'm having more trouble than I thought finding a part. I need the piece that holds the vibrato on. It screws in with 4 screws at the bottom of the guitar. If anyone has any ideas where to get one, I would really appreciate it. I already talked to Ovation and the guy actually pointed me towards this site. So any help would be awesome. Thanks

Check with Miles (Mr. Ovation). He had a like new neck for an Ultra GS that matched a broken one. I've also found that some of the basic parts for the old electrics, screws and such, are the same as those used on Fenders and are available at the little guitar shop down the street.

I believe these old trem units were made by Schaller, tho I could be wrong. Miles is a good place to start.

good luck.

I'm here, but send me an email to mileskb @ aol.com.

I think the piece you are missing is normally part of the bridge, but I may be able to help.
