Location: Augusta, GA | Due to the need for extra Christmas cash (wife's car broke down, and the kids Christmas shopping isn't done yet)...I MUST SELL my Ovation Balladeer Special ASAP. Hence the great price of $325 plus shipping. I believe it to be a 2001 model. serial number 562296. Made in Hartford, Conn. Not a collector's piece, but a nice guitar for very little $$$$! I'm the second owner. Bought it 3 years ago or so for $350 w/ out a case. I paid $85 for the standard black Ovation case. So I'm taking a loss...but that's cool. It's got the deep bowl, OP24+ electronics. Sounds good unplugged, but like all U.S.A Ovations--GREAT plugged up. It could use a fresh setup. The guitar has been played, but not abused.
THE ONLY ISSUES: It's got a couple of surface cracks (typical of Ovation's) on the top that were professionally repaired when the previous owner had it...you have to look closely to see it. Also, a little chip out of one corner on the headstock--that's it other than some small nicks. I hope you can see the repair in the pics. PLEASE help a brother out so I can buy my kids some toys.
