Location: Wooster, Ohio | Eric Clapton's reproduction sells out in a few minutes. Quite the trend. Find a beat up guitars that someone famous touched and sell it for 10 times normal. Sounds like a money machine to me.

Location: South of most, North of few | I am in the process of scraping all the paint off my Strat, and beating it with a chain. I will then screw a couple of eye bolts in it and will offer it to any OFC member before putting it up for auction. Now accepting offers. (bidding starts at $7500.00)
Oh, I forgot, I'll also have a few cigarette burns in various places on the headstock. "Once owned by Trader Jim" (man, I feel famous now..) |

Get some OFC signatures on it and list it under Autographed Vintage-d Guitar...
And rake-in the dough!
[Man... When we're famous, you'll wish you had bought this thing!] |

Location: Brisbane Australia | I can come to terms with the value (well most of the time) of a genuine vintage guitar but a repro for that sort of money?
It's just a copy for goodness sake!!
For that sort of money they should have magical powers to enable us to play like the original owners. :D |

It was Relic'd the Hard Way!
And only five-hundred bucks or so... |

Location: enid, ok | I'm baffled that anyone would value Eddie's hot-rodded-the-hard-way strat; a jury rig if I've ever seen one. Sure he played it, but look at the damned thing! |
