Up for sale is my 1978 Anniversary Model Ovation. As you can see by the pics, it's a beauty, and in great shape for a 30 yr. old guitar. The case is in great shape, as well, and has the original bill of sale, polishing cloth, key, and booklet. Other than some slight bellying behind the bridge, it's in pretty much mint condition. Plays very good, and sounds fantastic. I'm looking for an older Custom Legend, preferably straight acoustic, SB or Natural, and must be in very good condition. I would be interested in doing some trading if anyone has one. If someone wants to buy the guitar, I will let it go for 475.00 plus shipping. Otherwise , it's going to e-bay, but the price will be higher. Wanted to give forum members a shot at it first.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I was looking at these earlier this year, thinking I could get away with an anniversary guitar for our 30th anniversary. But the Ute was a 30th anniversary guitar. Then I bought the 30th CL. Then got the OFC for my birthday and played it at our anniversary party. My wife calls it our anniversary guitar. I think I got as much out of the anniversary story as possible. |

| Bump one time for a very nice vintage Anniversary Model Ovation. I'll keep it listed here for a couple more days if anyone is interested. I'm also open to trades, but prefer to sell. I do like the deep bowl Legends and Custom Legends, so let me know what you have.

| Thank's Tony. I'm somewhat suprised, also. I can never seem to find a deal like this when i'm looking, and it makes me wonder why someone doesn't grab this thing up. May'be I priced it too low or something. I know it's in wonderful condition for a 30 year old. I guess if no one wants it, I'll give e-bay a try in a day or so. |

| If I hadn't just bought 2 1619s I'd have snatched it up. Oh well, my timing was just bad I guess. |

Anyone that wants to get serious, step in front of me quickly.
The Anniversary is an excellent guitar.
You might remember that last year I bought one, repaired it, and sent to Norseman for what I paid for it. |

| Hey Strat, I backed out of selling the Anniversary right after I listed it here. Truly a fantastic instrument both visually, and acoustically. It's light as a feather, and sounds like there's a mic hooked to it. Absolutely beautiful sounding guitar, and pretty much in mint condition. I bought it from the original owner. Should I decide to let it go in the future, I will let you know. Tony, thanks for the reference, also.
