Assuming it's in the shape he says it's in, and I would say there's little reason for doubt given the pics, I would say it's a very good price. It's a fantastic guitar and, if you'd like to hear it, check out some of Waskel's sound bites (or just pick up his cd !).

Thanks for the plug, Weas, but the CD was done almost entirely on an 1867 I no longer have. The next one, however, will certainly feature the 1581.
Mike, given it has no serious issue, yes, it's a great price.
