I am on heavily enforced 1I1O... and Christmas tapped, but would love to have that Beautiful DC160

so here goes... my 6591 with optima, natural 5 piece neck w/ebony center stripe, new black nut, and new black thinline pickup/saddle from the mothership, new black chrome Schaller tuners from Alpep, real ebony tuner buttons, black dunlop straplocs and buttons, new black Levy's ez slide adjustable suede strap.

has a small finish chip on the headstock(clearcoat chipped off duckbill) wood not chipped or dinged.
and clearcoat is lifting slightly a little above the nut at E,A,D, but not chipped off... slightly lifted and bubble underneath showing.

includes original gold tuning machines, hardware, and buttons, original nut, and black metal tuner buttons for the Schallers currently on the guitar.. and ohsc in fair condition all latches work, and closes tightly but has a bubble/burn on the outside(brown vintage case, not original to the guitar).

$650 shipped/insured conus... to members here only... this will not be going on E-bay, and am selling only to try and get the Carvin.

e-mail or pm me for pics if interested. I just took some more to attempt the trade, but he needs cash at this time of year as well.

Thanks,

Glenn

Edit: the case is a Black Ovation OHSC, may or may not be original to the guitar... still has heat bubble/burn on it.

ok, to be fair, and since I did offer it to Jim as a straight trade... same deal.

$560 and split the shipping/packing/insurance conus only.

but only if the Carvin is still available at time of sale and Jim is still willing to sell.

Thanks,

Glenn

pics and thumbnails in my gallery, pm or e-mail for others or full-size photos or with questions.

not often that you'll see an Adamas for under $600 shipped and with extras... but what do I know? it's a 6591.

Thanks,

Glenn

Too Late.... SOLD!! for a silly price, but whatever.

what's a few dollars among friends.

must be something in the air/water down here in Florida ;)

cuz I ain't drinkin', takin', or smokin', anything anymore....

I've been craving a nice double cut, and that maple is nice.

just an fyi...

but with a restored 1537, restored 69 1115, coming home this month...

and the N768, and the 1985-x being restored and repaired... to come home next month... the 6591 was sitting low on the totem pole.. still a great guitar, and I had a lot of fun with it.. and I wanted to keep it in the family. But to be honest the N768 is my go-to "O" right now and if a 1537 sounds better, it can't be by much...

I'm still thinning the herd... the modified 1613 w/ADII OP Pro is still available...$450 shipped conus to members here. (being replaced by the Gatlin 85-x-6p classical elite)

and the hot-rod Turser is available for less than the cost of the parts in it...$275 shipped w/gig bag... EMG HZ1 pickups, Schaller Bridge, Grover Keystones, OEM Wilkinson roller nut and tree, Dunlop straplocs, CTS 500k pots, switchcraft switch and jack, sprague orange drop, flame maple pu rings, Ebony tone/vol knobs, and all gold plated hardware and screws. The Carvin DC160 will effectively replace this one.
