The dragon (?) applique is nice, but I don't know about that signature.

Is than an applique? Or did someone etch it into the top?

It's a vinyl sticker that he says he has already removed.

sorry for the tangent, but what's the point of obscuring the serial number?

Some sellers say it's to prevent bogus Second Chance offers. If someone asks, they'll just give the 1st 3 or 4 of the numbers so you can decipher the year.

They were going for the signature, but it's hard to maneuver a sharpie around through those little holes.

One of those signature guitars, it's probably peaked at 890.

Yeah but the ones that were signed had the string tubes from the factory! Very hard to find these anymore.

I should be buying not selling. That has to be a record low price. Very sad to see.

Dave is absolutely right again. Cruddy pictures will kill your sale every time. The guy even commented that the decal had since been removed, but he still used the old pictures. If it had been clean it probably would have gone up at least $500.

Well, it says "good" condition. It could need quite a bit of work to make it right, one never knows. (I'm just doing the sour grapes thing). Anyway, if it's playable, the buyer got a great deal. Ebay is such a crap shoot.

Naw NC... What is "Very Sad To See" is that I could almost have afforded that!
[I like all my guitars, but I coulda sold one or two to finance That!]

OK, this one hurts...
Not only did I forget to bid, but the buyer is the same one who purchased the Adamas I bought from Jason that I never received.
Ouch.

I have other pictures from the seller, the guitar was filthy... couple of possible dimples/dings in the top, and looked like separation at the neck heel... but could have just been a ton of dirt.. but for under $900 still a great deal... considering the factory could get it back in shape pretty reasonably.

Glad we were out taking a drive... I was prepared to go to $950... but still doesn't mean the other bidder wasn't bidding higher than that either.

Good point. The bay is full of suprises, sometimes much better than rolaids for GAS. Besides, I really wanted a 1687 (or similar) in red or something other then blue or black.
