Somehow, a crack on a black guitar looks a little fatal.

he claims he can't tell if the crack is just in the finsh or wood. I asked to take off the rear access cover and look at the back side of the wood. haven't hear from him yet, and may not.

When
I get it, I\'ll let y\'all know...
Then I will be asking advice on how to fix it! :p

Super Glue and a Sharpie?
[BTW- I asked him about the crack and action and stuff, he plead the fifth... Coincidentally, I asked to take-off the cover also.]

Looks like the typical finish crack to me. If it were in the wood, it would be running straight down with the grain. Congratulations on another steal! I have been thinking about the use of a brush-on laquer. It seems like that would "wick" into the crack and blend much better than a glue. Then wipe off the excess immediately afterwards.
