Sadly, at my income level, $10 K + causes more constipation than gas. I wish though. :( :)

Same here Patch. It's hard for me to justify spending more than 2K on any one guitar, and if I did that, it would probably be my only guitar.

The comment in the advert that you can not get brazillian rosewood anymore on a collings is not true. It's an expensive up-charge, but you can get it. Or maybe because of the size you can only get it on 000 sized models. NOT that I would know anything about this ...

A lot of people spend that kind of money on guitars. I know of one person on this board who spent $10k on a Collings last year. If you've got the money and can do it, all the more power to you......

I've never been a big fan of sunbursts(on acoustics), but Collings DOES do some nice ones! . .

no but debanjo says he has a line on 3 or 4 in the Asheville area. Kinda funny cause I really don't care about it that much anymore, the 360BG is plenty guitar and plays so good and sounds so good. I'm lookig forward to the 45. Why spend 6 figures when you can be reallllllly happy spending in the very low 4 figure range? Tough question to answer.
I played the BG tonight and it worked great. The KewlTubular is wonderful although the medium strings tore me up a bit, I'm used to my 460 with lites! for Playing Johnny B Good.
