Many have asked for this and Tim in Tidewater just posted it on the new site: but for those not already there (why not?) here it is:

Waiting for the Wind and 3 Going on 23 - Mike Ward

Thanks to Matt Smith, Paul Templeman, and Steve Sutton for encouragement and playing. Also to Beal for his love for the instruments and commitment to excellence! Also to Tim for videoing this and his encouragement as well.

Did it come out this time? I had to leave the house before it was done processing. Last nights attempt uploaded the sound but no video...

If none of the other Amelia Island participants object, I will post each of the performances the same way. If you DON'T want your performance posted, just send me a PM saying so.

I think this may be easier than trying to cram all of them onto a DVD at pisspoor qualitity settings.

Actually, if you look at one of the other videos (the one of Clifford, taken at Amy's house in Sept 06), you get real clear shots of Beal's, Kim's, and my crotches. Great video. Oh, and Clifford and Temp weren't bad either......

Tim, using the right tools you should be able to get 3 to 3.5 hours on a DVD without suffering much visible quality loss.
What authoring software do you have?

Bradly, all your performances are uploaded. I seem to have worked out the mono issue. I've got Cliffs, Beals, Alpep, Witko and a couple others that I need to redo because of file size issues.

I'm done for today, my blood pressure is through the roof...I'm gonna grab an couple O'doul's and head for the pool.

Tim, is there any way to put all the AI videos into an AI directory or do the uploads just go up randomly?

Don't know...looks like they all go into a common folder. I don't see anything like the My Albums in the pictures section.

Tag function works well, if you open any one of the videos and click the tag, it opens a list of all of them.

Where was this? I played a place on Amelia a few times called the 1878 Tavern & Grille, downtown in the historic district. The corner you guys are playing in the video clips looks an awful lot like the same place...

Jonmark - the venue is called The Frisky Mermaid, and it's inside the Florida House B&B.

Frisky Mermaid holds a songwriter's contest every Wednesday. If you're ever there again check it out, you'll probably see Beal performing one of his originals. Also check out O'Kanes just around the block on Center Street. Davis and Pam Turner perform there, and they're well worth seeing.
