Location: Phoenix AZ | The sad truth (I've owned all 7 original models) is that these two reissues sound head and shoulders better than their original counterparts. As a huge fan of the vintage originals it pains me to say that. The Josh White not be a large amount, but noticible. But the Balladeer is stunning. The sound just jumps out of it. This is the guitar that prompted me to built the GC Artist Shiny bowl custom. The problem is that I just can't part with the originals for sentimental reasons and there's no reason to own the originals and the reissues (hey wait a minute, adamas slotheads ???). The balladeer is serial number 002! I might rethink this ... |

But the thrill is always in what may lay ahead. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve and sometimes you need to dump the model in order to date the movie star. I'll miss the JW but it's going to a good place.

No offense to you 2byc, youre just the messenger, but this drives me absolutely freaking nuts. I have to tread through this cutsie crap all day at work it's like navigating a freaking comic book just to read a simple email from a coworker. And then they want me to please my customers by sending them e-greetings. Screw that. I'll take them out and buy them a beer and close the deal the old fashioned way. If you find an emoticon that says "blow me", let me know. |

Location: Simpsonville, SC | well...payback is always hell! Twleve years ago, I shaved my head (as now), because there was nothin else I could do with it. I went to my Father's house and he got a real kick out of it, hence the payback. Unfortunately he unexpectedly passed two days later, but the smile that stayed on his face, after seein my head, is a picture that I will always remember. |

Great story. A good memory is worth more than a full head of hair. |
