Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | OK folks, I thought I was going to keep this one, but I've got my wishful eye on something else (or 2...or 3). The thing is, I had some communication recently with Trader Jim, and I fear the man may just be contagious.
Anyway, there's not a thing wrong with this one other than minor scratching from normal use. You really have to look for it. It sounds wonderful, especially for a shallow bowl. The pre-amp and on-board tuner work fine. The neck is straight and the intonation true. I have to say again, it's a perfectly fine instrument. Here are the specs from Ovation: It has the "Blue Sparkle" finish (Haven't seen that one very often.), AA Grade Solid Sitka Spruce, A Bracing, Scale Length of 25 1/4, Bound Ebony Fretboard, Fret Inlays are Mother of Pearl, Ebony Bridge, , Tru-Balance pick up, Nutwidth is 1 11/16, Gold Ovation tuners, and the Inlayed Oakleaf Rosette (I love this, but it's also the only area with any flaw, though very minor. It almost looks like the rosette was scratched before finishing. Look at the close up at about the 4 o'clock position.).
It comes with its hardshell case and just got some new strings. You won't find a better or more comfortable gigging guitar. I'm asking $565 shipped in the continental U.S. I'll also consider interesting trades, even involving +/- cash. International folks definitely want to check about shipping charges first. As always, ask any questions and let me know what you think.

| this model is very nice, and sounds much larger than the shallow bowl would lead you to think..
Al,(slydog) has the same model done in a silver flake like this one is done in blue, and is one of the nicest and loudest shallows that I've played.
Good luck with it Patch, it's worth every penny.

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Hi folks,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be leaving town for Easter Sunday later this afternoon. I won't have internet access until I get back, so I won't be able to reply to questions until tomorrow night. If you want to move more quickly, find my ad on the Hudson Valley Craig's List, it has a cell number you can use. |

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Well...it's for sale again. The buyer decided a shallow bowl just wasn't his thing. He has to ship it back, assuming it arrives OK, everything is as it was. So who wants it? :) |
