I had an all koa one I sold and I really wish I hadn't. It had a small neck and I should have had them just make a new neck.

Yeah...call me spoiled but I won't even consider an acoustic guitar anymore if it doesn't have a 1 3/4" neck.

The OM I have on order has the German Spruce top. Didn't even think about Koa for the back/sides at the time but it would have been nice!

I'm having a Henderson OM pre-war made in this configuration: it will only be the 2nd KOA OM that he's made.
This is a beautiful Collings!

I give up. Just when I think everybody is finished sorting out their collections, you all post an update on the custom guitars you're having built. Hasn't anybody updated you people on the economy?

Custom guitar orders are great

Takes 6-12 months to build which gives you plenty of time to send a little money each month so that when complete it is paid for.

Kinda like "interest free"..."12 months same as cash", etc.

The OM body with a 1 3/4" neck is a great combination.

I believe that is why the members that own a UTE are so happy.
