| while my wife was in the hospital, our daughter just decided to ignore the grinding from the front of the accord and just turned the volume up on the stereo..
long story short.... she cooked the calipers and rotors, and I now have a 750 dollar repair bill...
Black EA68 viper, with OHSC, fair shape, new pickup from mother, new preamp faceplate/label from mother, action is good, guitar is a great player, I currently have an Ovation NOS Brass nut on it, but the original nut is included as well.... the brass nuts were used on the UKII guitars.... sounds good on the viper too... but if it's too bright for you you can switch the original back in.
$600 shipped/insured Conus...
pictures in my gallery I think, if not I will provide any shots of the guitar requested.
Thanks,
Glenn |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Sorry for the derail, Glenn, but your story reminded me of one.
A guy I worked with got a call from his wife, who said she had a flat tire and the tire store wanted to sell her a new tire. Suspecting a scam, he had her put the tire guy on the line. He said they were working and heard this loud fwapping noise coming down the road. They both turned to see her driving rapidly by with a completely flat tire and said they'd probably see her in a few minutes. About an hour later she came in dragging pieces of tire and riding on the rim. He said they were lucky to save the wheel. My friend gets his wife back on the line and asked why she couldn't tell she was driving on a flat tire. She said she heard this really loud noise, but she was in a hurry and drove 10 miles to where she was going and another 10 back before she decided to stop. I'm sure she just turned the stereo up, too. Good luck, Glenn. |

Location: CA | Would love to have an EA 68 but I also have two daughters who drive, which pretty much says it all money-wise.
Maybe you should sell the stereo out of her car and use that to fix the brakes. Anyway, I hope she's contributing some $$$ to the fix. |

| well, some interest shown.... but nothing solid and still not sold. anyone else want some of the new pics before I write the description and put her on the bay?
I have them in a file and e-mail, 16 shots, just don't have the time right now to manipulate them to fit the gallery.
Thanks all,
