Location: Sydney, Australia | There's a shallow bowl 12 String Adamas II on eBay.
But seems a bit strange to me, one of the reasons for the booming sound of the texture top Adamii was the deep bowl. |

| you'd be surprised how good the 1885s sound, I hate to say it Richard, but that shallow bowl textured top would have your w597 cowering in a corner.
the 1885 is a really nice TT Adamas, and that is a more than fair price.

And the guitar is a great one: I used to own a black one in the late 90's...this is a rare color and a great price! |

Does a shallow bowl Adamas sound full acoustically or is the 1885 more of a "plugged in" model? Of course this is a subjective question but I am interested in how people who have played one feel about the sound.
Any others here who may have experience with the 1885 and would share an opinion on the(acoustic) sound?

I have an 1881, and while it can't keep up with the 1581, it still sounds great unplugged. |
