Just curious...where are the two books that we sent around for signatures?

I believe this was asked last year...

there's actually three in circulation. one was gifted to me and i sent it on to grif in canada. he was supposed to send it to the aussies and promised to do so several times. it's taken longer to get the book down there than it did to get some tim tams here. i dunno where the second book is...

The one Damon had, I believe, was the one I got from Beggin. I think it went through slydog and Glen before it got to me then went to Capo guy.

It's worth having and it's a good read, but it desperately needs an update. A lot has happened in the 11-odd years since it was written.

What He Said (on all counts).

BuyIt.

Over the years, I've bought three copies of this book, and was given just as many (FactoryTours, etc.).

I ended up giving them all away to anyone who's seen it & expressed a sincere interest.

I'm down to just the one hardcover copy that CWK2 inscribed to me . . .

There were two of these at the PNW gathering that went really cheap on the silent auction table. Damon got the hardcover for not much more than a prayer. Not sure who ended up with the softcover version.

If anyone's having a tough time finding it (and doesn't want to get in a bidding war on ebay), I ordered it from this British website:

http://www.fretsonly.com/xcart/product.php?productid=3228

Once the pounds were converted to US dollars, the total was $18 shipped. The current copy on ebay is already higher than that (inc. shipping) with over a day to go.

He's not even bothering to reply to my emails any more. He was as apologetic as they come with promises and excuses, but still no book.

Ditto here. I can't believe they have enough of these to ship to everyone. I'm expecting a note from them with a refund cause they don't have them.

BTW, the one on the bay went for 64.65 + shipping. maybe I should order a case of them and put them on the bay.......

I tried ordering one awhile back that was cancelled because of no inventory - it might've been these guys.

I'm sure England makes sure that you get quality, inexpensive mail service since you're still one of her colonies. :D
