Wish I had $900. I've never seen one of these before...

Here you go:

Viper 12 String

I believe they were custom orders.

If it's in good condition it's an absolute steal. That's peanuts for such a nice guitar... I think I remember Glen Campbell doing the William Tell on one of those...Arrrggghhh! Wish I had the bucks, the buy-it-now would be history...

Absolute steal is right. I custom ordered mine to match my 6-string Viper. BIN is considerably less than half of a custom order price.

Heard from the seller.
It's a USA, serial is 515013. Makes it a '96.

The BIN was $900 and no one grabbed it?

Geeeezzz Stephen, how would e***2 know who y***d was.

Am I correct assuming that $900 was the BIN which disappeared with the first bid?

As seasoned as you are, I'd think you would have hit the BIN.
In perfect condition, you know it would go for more than $900.

If you really want one, buy my black one.

Many of the meager guitars that I has sold eventually went for more than the BIN...
Just cuz someone was hoping for a bargain... Five days is a Long Time.

Happy bidding y'all...

I'm also watching that one out of curiousity. They ARE rare, and that BIN would have been a better than fair price.

I am always surprised when sellers set a BIN w/o a reserve so that the BIN disappears at the first bid.

Maybe he thought the BIN would be a quick sale...so, now he's just waiting it out for the best he can get.. Either way, it won't surprise me if it goes higher. The center-hole Adamas' always sell well and nobody likes 'em anyway...but this is a rare find. Might take out a loan to bid on this one.. ;)

I will be surprised if it goes higher than the BIN. Regardless of value, 12 String guitars appeal to a much smaller audience that a regular 6 string.

Yeah, but isn't there a rule that everybody has to have a 12-string, whether you play it or not?

I still think it's rare enough to push a grand...it's already half way to 8 bills with 5 days left..(now, where's that loan application?... ;) ) There's also a nice '89 1866 at $399 with no bids, and 6 days left..

Steve, I have one of each (the Viper 12 and an 1866). How do you intend to use it? They answer different questions.
