Has it been modified do you think?
What is the model number
I've asked the seller the same questions but would like your opinion too. Ta. |

Location: Brisbane Australia | I'm not really into basses but a Magnum 1 methinks.
Looks original other than the aluminium PG.
Miles?
That would cost at least $500 to ship to Oz.
Now you know why I'm not into basses.

Location: Brisbane Australia | Hey Dweez,
Find me a nice original Burns Hank Marvin over there.
Look after me and I'll get you a peer through Abbey Road Studios.
(If you are interested)

Location: Brighty in Blighty | Oh so the PG has been added? Hmm, don't really want a mod'd bass...
OK I'll keep me eyes open for a Burns Hank Marvin - whatever that is... |

That's a good looking Bass.
How much to ship that to the UK as a matter of interest?

Location: Brighty in Blighty | Yes I know Hank, not personally of course but don't know that guitar - will look out for it.
Yeah I like the look of it and need a bass so I reckoned an Ovation one would be good.
But not too sure about a mod'd one.
Dunno about shipping yet - I have asked the seller... |

Location: Scotland | The pickguard is non-original. I'm pretty sure the factory has stock of Magnum pickguards.
That will be ridiculously expensive to ship to the UK. Also depending on certain couriers regulations it may be too large for airfrieght when/if packed properly, in which case it would be surface mail which takes 6 to 8 weeks.
Magnum models 1 & 2 crop up fairly regularly in the UK (though 3 & 4 are comparitively rare) and by the time you've paid freight, duty and VAT, importing one from the US will not necessarily be any cheaper. |

Location: Jet City | For reference, I paid $700 (US) for my Magnum IV. Bought it from some off-the-wall reseller named Mr. Big or something like that (www.lostartvintage.com) in perfect unplayed condition.
The length and weight will kill ya on overseas shipping. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I just saw some magnum parts up for sale on Ebay yesterday. I believe they were being sold separately. There was a black pick guard, the upper pickup, and the adjustable bridge plate. |
