Location: South of most, North of few | I waited 3 1/2 months for them to make this one, and I caught them just before they got flooded with orders. They said they wouldn't do a burst, but Mike at MacNichol guitars seems to have a little pull with the factory and got it done for me. All carbon fiber, no truss rod, very pronounced bass, but not overpowering. Subjective, I know, but probably the best tone and depth of any acoustic I have played. |

Very nice guitar but the tree has got to go. :D
That guitar needs a nice Tennessee Dogwood to complement is beauty. I have one in my backyard.
It's not near the yellowjacket nest I hit the other day. |

Is that the 5 series? The 5 has the rough finish, this is the 7i that has gloss finish and a hard case instead of the gigbag. |

Anyway, looks like a nice bit of gear. Maybe if using carbon catches on, it'll become cheaper. When carbon composite fishing rods first came out they were megabucks but now most are made that way. Here's hoping... |

| It looks beautiful. I see electronics but no controls. Is it just a direct out?
It looks like it should really have an archtop option. |

Electronics controls would make it even better. I like direct outs on wood bodies, but with the carbon setup there's no real need to preserve a nice piece of wood IMO. |
