Location: CA | As mentioned last week, I recently got a CV68 Viper that was pristine except that the pre-amp didn't work. Upon examination, part of the circuit board has shorted out and melted, so it's likely toast. Factory replacement is pricey, but I'll go that way if I have to. Before I commit, I'm just wondering if anyone out there might have one of these things laying around. Judging from some of the spare parts I've seen here lately, looks like some of you are veritable guitar wrecking yards.
