Was it in Idaho Falls the other 2 times? If I knew some guitar players over there, I could have them take a look at it, but I don't know any.

What's the story on this that it keeps popping up for sale?

Hey Dan... it's been way too many years. I need to get out and see you someday soon.

Interesting to see this back up on Ebay. I see a few dings have accumulated since it got away from me. Kinda like running into an ex girlfriend with a few new wrinkles.

Unless it has been modified though, the warnings about the power issue are incorrect. The under-saddle pickup/preamp and the Roland Midi system are not connected in any way... at least they weren't when they left my workbench.

Don't know... it didn't have any major flaws when I owned it. I wasn't aware it had changed hands.

I sold it for 2 reasons-
1- I prefer my USA EA68 for the V neck and the original O pickup for live performance.
2- While the Roland PU is a decent enough Midi platform, the Godin with the RMC PU system out tracks it significantly. I have seriously considered doing another Cel Viper and replacing the stock thinline with an RMC setup.
Just haven't found the time... yet.
