One of the finest (maybe THE finest) guitars Ovation ever made.

On the old question of "if he house was burning and you could grab only one ..." the FD14 would NOT be the one, simply because others are more rare or more expensive. But if I had to start selling off the collection, based on personal preference the FD14 would be the last to go. It's the one guitar I COULD NOT live without.

Congrats to the new owner. Dave

and it was the last woodtop Ovation I had. Tough to let go but it just wasn't getting played. The new owner really worked hard to get it and I was happy that things finally worked out.

I still have a fine collection of Adamas guitars and I doubt that those will be leaving the herd anytime soon (if ever!)
