Contact the factory service department. They're long on every knob ever made for an Ovation.

What they said. I got some from the factory not 2 months ago with no hassle at all. They were sitting in my mailbox within in two days of my phone call.

I lost the lower tone ring on my stack in the late 80's. It cracked and fell apart, but I just ignored it until one day I stumbled onto a telephone number for the factory. This was long before there was an OFC or even an Internet. I called and told of my problem. A few days later, a new knob was received in the mail. No questions, no hassles, no conditions, no charges, just plain old 'we'll take care of it' service, the kind you receive from somebody proud to stand behind their products, even after 10 years (at that time). This is how brand loyalty is created and reinforced.

Hey, yep, they are sending me some no questions asked. Really cool way to do biz. I hope Fender does not screw this up since they now control Kaman. Fender of old was great but the new Scottsdale folks leave a lot to be termed with words we can't use in this forum. Even when my newer Strats showed defects I could not get the time of day from them other then pay cost plus shipping which turned out to be more than I could get the same part for from Guitar Center. This being in just the last year or so. A friend of mine who recently quit Fender said point blank, "There is no one there who cares anymore".

Got a similar problem - missing a lower ring on a 1980 Glen C. See lots of comments about the "Mothership" and the factory. May I have some contact details. Since I am in the UK, email would be good.
