Well after all your great advice on this website I bought my 1778t brand new. Used it a couple times this past month and realized this guitar is out of my league. It simply is too good and I have a baby on the way. I used it maybe 10 times at most. I need to take my loss and get something in my range for the time being. I may really regret this someday but have no choice. Take a look guys. Again thanks to this site who introduced me to fine made guitars!!! IT comes with two cases. Selling it for the price I bought it at.

Let me be the first to confirm your fears. Unless you give up guitar entirely, you'll regret it. Going backwards from an Ovation is not an easy transition.

There was a thread earlier where most of the members of this club (myself included) thought that their guitar was a better guitar than they were a player.

Agreed...

Nobody has bid on it... Now would be a good time to tell eBarf to end your listing because the guitar fell outta the back of your pick-up truck (or something like that)...

You will miss it once it is gone... It is an Elite T!

Once you go black, you can never go back!

Oh yeah... I suck at the guitar too! :p

Dan, don't do it! If you need the $, that is legit. But the T will only make you a better player. Getting a lower end instrument will hobble your ability to improve.

Keep it and play it for your newborn.

All my guitars are too good for me. My cars have more horsepower, better brakes and better handling than I hope to ever need. So what. Just try to squeeze in more playing time with the new baby around. You'll grow together with the music.

Thanks for all the thoughts gentlemen but when it comes to spending a good amount on something I need to really get full use out of it or it doesn't work for me. It is a great guitar but as a newbie I can wait a bit, even if its on a old clunker, to hopefully buy a beautiful Adamas... maybe a 2010 collectors model!!! Thanks for the support. Capo-even with the clunker I will play for my daughter.
