Those are some nice guitars. Unfortunately, no money in the guitar kitty. I really love those Parkers. Good luck.

John, I know you've been trading more than selling, but you've got me thinking. I'm the guy in Corning with the 1756 Legend that's been in for a "Mothership" overhaul. It's coming back this week and I'm afraid once I play it I won't want to say goodbye, but your Parker has me thinking about a possible trade. Any thoughts?

Andy, let's talk after you get it back and see if I still have my Parker. I do need cash right now to pay off some of my foolish purchases but I am a "Trading Fool" so you never know...............
Thank you,
John

Sounds good, John. I'll talk to you when it's back. Ovation just let me know it will be back in my hands before the weekend and I'm looking forward to checking out their workmanship. As you know, I was really looking for a Ric 12 string, but there are temptations everywhere.
Thanks,
Andy

Andy, how about an Ibanez 2640 Artist Doubleneck. Outstanding 12 string with a 6 string attached. One of the best playing and sounding 12's I have ever owned.

That's intriguing...though I've never been one for double neck guitars. Did I see pics of this in another thread recently? It sounds familiar.

Yes, in John's ad for an electric 12-string. That's a nice looking doubleneck, but what a big body to sling around your neck....

Pictures are kinda big. Might be easier for you just to go look at them on my OFC Social Site.

Just click on each photo once or twice to see them in a much larger format.

Wow. That's from when Ibanez made some real quality "Gibsons". I bet it sounds great. I don't think my back would appreciate the equivalent of a couple Les Pauls slung around my shoulders, though. I'm looking for more Tom Petty than Jimmy Page as far as an electric 12 string goes. Are you looking to sell or trade, by the way?

Congrats, John. It's nice not feeling that temptation anymore. My 1756 will be here today or tomorrow and I can just enjoy it now.

I think I got a hernia just looking at the case for that doubleneck.

afortune - I didn't realize that there was another CNY'er on board. I'm outside of Syr but was down your way just last week for a wine tour. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome. It does seem like there is a healthy Southern contingent here (of course, I'm originally from NC) As it is, I'm glad John sold the Parker. Now that my 1756 is back from Mother, it would take a heck of a deal to pry it away.
