Location: East Wenatchee, WA | My 14 year old grandson just mentioned that he wants a decent guitar for Christmas. He wants something a little "fancier" (referring to my 1537 and Adamas).
I am thinking a used Elite might be just the ticket for him.
Might or might not be possible to do as our budget would be in the $300-400 range.
Maybe one of the off-shore O's, but I would need advice on that. He also say a pic of an Elite T (flamed variety?) and thought that was pretty cool.
So, advice and referrals welcome over the next couple of weeks. |

Get with Al and see what ya can work out. |

Location: East Wenatchee, WA | Hadn't thought of the IDea....will have to go back and read the posts. However, I am thinking they are way out of my price point.
My problem is I have 5 grandkids from "mixed families", so have to treat them equal. In this case, several of us would combine our Christmas present $$$$ to make the purchase.
So Al, how much is an IDea? |

I don't have grandkids, so I can't comment, but I have been extravagant with my kids with guitars and cars in ways I never would have imagined. On the other hand, they've earned scholarships worth several times the cost of all the guitars and cars, so I can afford it now and I never planned on that. |

Checked out the Ultra but it was $359 or something like that. Looks like just the ticket for the price you mentioned.
I may be on hold for a while, since my sale of the 2080 fell through and I was funding this with that sale.
Moody....obviously you don't have a "protective grandmother type" sleeping with you who would rip your tonsils out from your back side if you talked to one of her grandbabies that way.
Besides, kid has maintained a 4.0 GPA in accelerated classes for last 5 years, is successful in sports and worked all summer to build up money to buy his own car in a couple of years. You occassionally reward that behavior.
Takes after his grandpa.....(well except for the 4.0 GPA, accelerated classes and successful in sports)....hmmmmm maybe I don't want him to have a good guitar. :D |

Good luck in your quest! |

The price had gone up to $359, but I had one in my 'cart' at the old price, so I still got it.
Since 12 hours ago, it has now gone up to $399
So I musta just slid under the wire.
Glad I didn't think too much longer.
[If you still want one at $310, maybe you could email or call them and still get that deal...
45 day price guarantee and all that?] |

Location: Tennessee | I snagged one last night for the $309.75. No sales tax and free shipping to boot. Got the sunburst. Not sure what I'm going to do with it but it seemed too good a deal to pass up, especially with Christmas right around the corner. MF did have a one day only sale so I imagine this deal was part of that promotion. |

Music 123 has the same deal, at least it does right now!
This is listed as Close-Out, so if you still want one, now is the time to get it.
I guess these are kinda like the 4861 Korean Balladeer that I had.
A Korean 2771LX? I'll let y'all know when I get mine.
They also have a Blemished 2171-4 for $695.99...
Go figger  |
