Location: Vernon CT | I'm selling my 1112-1 Acoustic only Custom Balladeer. Comes with a Roadrunner HSC made specifically to fit Ovation Guitars. This guitar spent a 2 week summer vacation in New Hartford getting a little TLC and came back looking and sounding great. Easily a 8 1/2 out 10! If interested P.M. me and make an offer. I have this up on C.L. but would prefer to keep it in the "Family" as "you" will appreciate it more.
Too many idiots low balling offers as if it were a $50.00 P.O.S. from a Discount store.
Here's a link to the ning site w/ a pic.

Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | That pic makes me homesick for the 1612-1 I sent to Riccardo! I've never had a guitar with a top that had opened up like it.
Bob, what did the magicians at the MS do to it? |

Location: Vernon CT | Playing wise the Nut had shifted over and split Causing the 1st string to slip right off the fret. So they replaced it. The Guitar was unplayable above the 9th or 10th fret "STRINg BUZZ" due to a "Hump" on the fret board, fixed that. It is now completely playable with a fairly low action/ there were a few dents in the top clear coat and 1 deeper ding in the wood down at the bottom center of the guitar. They filled in and buffed the top. You can't feel any Indentation at all. And with out asking them they cleaned and polished the guitar/hardware from top to bottom all for the Quoted cost of fixing the first 2 issues. You would never know there was a problem. They are amazing over there. My friend who other then the 2 issues didn't like the tone( He compared it to his Std Elite and my Elite, naturally it didn't sound the same) couldn't beleive how it sounded after it came back. He swore it was a different guitar. How what they did would actually make it sound better doesn't make sense, but it really did!! |
