That way you need two guitars.
One for standard tuning, one for open tuning.
Oh... I thought that this would go at least to $300...
A Completed Listing search shows them All going to at least $300.
So I low-balled at $255.55...
Guess What  :p |

(I hadn't read this thread before I bid...)
I posted this Early this morning then went to bed.
I woke-up around 11:25 grabbed some coffee and turned-on the computer and I had an Item Ending email...
It said that the Viper going at $236, I couldn't let that Happen...
I just HAD to bid on it.
I Really Did Not Expect To Win This.
But I got it now.
This is the cheapest Viper I can find on an advanced search.
Now I will definitely have to sell something.
I've got a Glenn Campbell Artist coming, and I already have a 1621-4... One of the these Artists ain't staying.
This Viper that I just got seems to have a few more dings and an odd tuner, so this might need some rehab... Fornby's Furniture Polish or something.
(He does have a return policy, but we'll see...)
I'm DONE for now! That cleaned-out my PayPal guitar fund... and then some! |

Congratulations Arthur. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Not sure Dweezil... But it currently costs less than the average price of Vipers and it has a case.
The seller mentions a crack in the PG and some dings that were too small to photograph.
But it is a 30+ year-old guitar.
Not sure how you get your stuff from here to the UK... But if it stays low, it might be worth it.
Maybe everybody will be wrapping presents instead of searching eBarf. |

I am not sure if it is the same as a coil-tap...(My ASM has a coil-tap)
But I want one anyway. I will figure-out how to work it once I get it.
[I am going through a Viper phase right now.] |

But I have a Viper question...
Why does this one Not have a contour on the back?
See? Compared to the sunburst...
By serial number, the 'Natural' one is older than AJ's which I have, which has a contour shave-job.
Were they just lazy back then?
Somehow I usually expect the Older model to be better... Just vintage bias, huh?
Always looking for an education... That way if I apply for a job at a Music Store I can sound smart! |

I had a Viper III Custom that had the top front edge, where your arm goes over, contoured as well...much like a Strat. |
