I bet somebody could make an offer of $750-800 and snag this bad boy!

That's where some of us got our K1111 Balladeer RIs. The pictures in the ad might not be the guitar you get. Mine wasn't the same as the one pictured, but I like mine better. Looks like a big store. I wish I had known about it when I was last in Milwaukee.

They advertise a reconditioned guitar with the photo of specific serial number on the back of the headstock. Seems like fraud if you don't get the guitar you bid for..

I've delt with them before Small items only. They seem to be a good eBay seller. They have an 800 number so you could call them if interested.

Man Nobody does sunburst like Ovation!!

I actually bought that same model from them for close to what Stephen said. (don't want to disclose the price publicly) Sent it back for a refund, as it had a small issue with the neck and didn't want to start messing too much with the setup. They use a "stock" photo, but the one I got was a beautiful burst. They also refunded my money with no questions.

I think it is one of the better disclosures that the guitar is a FRG and comes with a 5-year warranty. If I was in the market for one, I would feel very comfortable with these guys.

I'm local to them, and have been very satisfied with any dealings. They also have a large number of vintage guitars and amps, plus a huge Gretsch room.

I've bought a total of 3 off them so far. Very nice to deal with.

Stonebobbo and I had the same problem getting responses to emails from them through ebay, but when I called the toll free number, I got a real person, who gave me a tracking number and the guitar showed up earlier than I expected. I prefer talking to people rather than machines.

Good Lord, I personally don’t want another 12 string slot head - were they designed by sadists? I just changed the strings on an old Pacemaker this weekend, and it took me forever! Not fun at all....

You have to approach it as a labor of love. I never balked at changing a 12 slot head. I kind of enjoyed it. Patience Grasshopper. ;)

I did buy my K-1111 from them. Nice folks. They did take care of me, even if it did take a couple of days for email traffic to clear. But I got the guitar quick, and there were no issues. They are more "in-person" people than anonymous web types ... like MIB said, sometimes that's a better way to deal with folks. If you go to their eBay store, you'll see a LOT of nice vintage old guitars, including a LOT of Gretsches and even a '57 LP GoldTop they're asking $112.5K for.

Picked up a 1987 Adamas 1687-7 from them on 5/12/04, later sold to an OFC'er.

Good disclosure and service.
