After what seems an eternity, I finally decided on and received my new traval guitar.

CA "Cargo"
22" scale length
Body depth is about 3.5"
Head to toe, just over 35"

It's a Uke slayer! Surpirising big/ rich voice for such a tiny guitar (look below to see next to my 47RI)

Tried a couple of the CA cargos at NAMM. Very impressive. The full size CA guitars with that soundhole configuration are killer too. Every CA guitar I've tried has been great, almost as good as an Adamas.

Are you sure that picture is big enough? Congrats on the new guitar. When did you get a 47?

My Travel guitar is full sized, of course I don't have to travel much and when I do it's by Chevy.

Actually, I sold mine to a guy in Germany just after I got home from the Southern Jam, then ended up buying another one (new, with electronics again) for a killer price. TR will agree, great little guitars with a very BIG sound.

You've got fists like an elephant with elephantitis - how do you manage to play that little thing?

Though east to west, the frets are a bit closer together, the nut width north to south is wider than the standard Ovation nut, making it a remarkably easy player.

Just want to mention that the Tacoma Papoose has a wider neck too.

Nice TDB Jim!

But Whitehead, is your travel Guitar able to do anything else, say... defend you in a shoot out?

Here's the Stealthy Stunner in its common appearance.

And with a few quick mods

The Crossbow isn't far behind...

'AttaBoy!!

(I looked at those but, wanted a "non silent" guitar. HOWEVER, I have what I think would be GREAT modification for that (style) guitar that I think folks would really dig.)

(In all seriousness.

Woody,

How do you like your travel guitar? What brand is it, what is it like to play?

Take a look at my feedback on Ebay and you can see where I got it. It is a poorly made cheap POC.

But after a few alterations...

It is a fair wide neck Nylon for someone to learn on without upsetting the rest of the house. Through the Genz-Benz and some pedals it is quite flexible.

Now back to JW - Congrats on the 10K and you have been an inspiration to us WEINOR's!
