Location: seattle | tough call, but the K fills an empty spot in the guitar stable, if you know what I mean.
about the 07:
it has the XLR/vip - for you recording artists, makes a big dif too
is totally mint - never left apartment
is totally gorgous - pics will be added soon (wed/thurs)
works best with extra lights - is pretty loud and has the best bass i've ever heard. trebles very nice too.
but the bass is seductive - if you do a lot of bass lines or just love prominent bass, this IS the one for you. Bass just rings
Plays like butter, prob due to the 10s on it. pretty close to electric feel. strings could be lowered, I've never removed any of the shims
harmonics - great, kaki great
Bass - worth mentioning again.
satin finish on neck
iDEA will drop in can without modification
Bearclaw top - bass side holes - top quality ebony - maple epilets - understated beauty
cost - a rediculous $775 plus shipping (non-negotiable) - sorry no case so I will double box and insure - or, buy a case/gigbag and have it shipped here for shipping of guitar ... I bought used from dealer but he held back the case (ba@#$%)
pls pm if interested - thanks
ps I have plenty of references I can send you, I know my guitars and this one is a GREAT ONE ... without doubt. I am NOT unloading a guitar - I am trading one great one for another.
this one is great with both fingerstyle and strumming (holy grail if you will) but ... if you dig in real hard - not a ton of headroom. if you play soft - moderate hard - it's great. and ... it's got the best bass I've every heard on guitar - and I've had martin d42, d28ge, d18ge (just sold) and d28 marquis - collings and a santa cruz pre-war brazilian. I a/b'd the santacruz and the 07 and I found it hard to prefer one over the other. note: the santa cruz is a 6 grand guitar on consignment at a shop right now (pm me - BEAL)
thanks for looking and reading - happy strummin |

Why do you have 10's on it? came with very dirty strings, and by the time I opened the box it was about 10 at night and that's all I had in the house. however, I thought it sounded great with em, so i've kept 10 on it. I like to have some guitars with 10s, some with 11/12s and at least one with 13s (when I want to test my manhood)
why do you ask, if I may ask |

OOOPS! I just saw the "sale on hold" note. thanks for input, he's actually contacted me - kinda left me in limbo, which I didn't appreciate, but I just read he's not a big bass fan, so mine isn't for him anyway. thanks for thinking of me. (and flag - not polite to leave me hangin ..) |

Oh, and congrats! |

All looks aside (which are awesome IMNOHO) it is not the loudest O but it is smooth and even across the fretboard.
Very much an LX in feel and play.
If it had Faux Tortiose Binding it would be perfect.
I think Joe and I had more fun negotiating than playing. |
