Location: NJ | At the Kaman Namm booth there was a lonely Adamas prototype that I had to take home with me.
The guitar is a 1781s-5 (s for namm sample) it is single epaulet, black mid dept bowl, op pro studio, basically an updated Adamas II. Rick Hall told me he wanted to put another Adamas guitar in the line and this was the one. The guitar did not make the catalog or the website so who knows if there will be any others made. If interested you can have this Namm show guitar. It plays and sounds great!!!
comes with the 9158 case and full factory warranty
if interested e mail or call
thanks

Location: Phoenix AZ | This is a very cool guitar. I saw it at NAMM and more or less ignored it at first "just another adamas II". But WAIT. Mid depth bowlk with veyr special body binding. Very cool. It's called model 1781, but not clear if it's a real model (not in catalog, not on website) or is this just another cool one-off. Very, very nice. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | This one is appealing. It would fill the gap very nicely between a 1581 deep bowl and an 1881 SSB, all in black. I, too, passed it up NAMM and conentrated more on the 2009 LTD Tak sunburst and all those beautiful Hamers. |
