Joe, Ovationluver, brought a very interesting Alveres(sp) guitar in a more interesting case.

Seagull TRIC case

Had to look it up and found this on Fleabay!

Anyone ever fit an O or an A in one of these?

They sell those at Home Depot. It usually comes with a Dewalt power tool inside.

I had a "Crafter" guitar (Korean) actually a nicely made acoustic for the price with all kinds of factory inlay work as part of a trade. They had one of these type of cases that was molded from styrofoam. It had plastic hinges handles and interior space hatches molded right in. And instead of a plastic outer shell it had a lightweight brown nylon zippered cover that held it together and a velcro safety lock that went through the handle. Lightest, toughest little case I ever saw.

I had one for 3 years with my 20th anniversary Seagull, it was great. The story goes that the owner of Seagull was going from music store to store and putting his best Seagull in one of those cases and throwing them out of the second story window with no problems. True story....

I think Gibson did as well, or something very much like it.
