That critter is probably worth twice what it's going for on the auction.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I paid almost that for my beater. Dweezil, in my book the 1713 is a much better sounding guitar. Deep bowl and cedar top with the wider neck of a classical guitar. The 1624 sounds puny in comparison. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a Country Artist model and not the Concert Classical(that has the little scrolled fretboard termination at the soundhole)?
I think the Counry Artist also has the narrower nut width.
It's a beautiful guitar either way, but I don't believe it is actually the classical. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | You're right, Vince. Many people call them classical guitars, probably because they think all nylon string guitars are classical guitars. The Country Artists are a bit of a hybrid. |

I just sold mine too. My Mom has the Concert Classic, so if I ever have the nylon urge (Guitars you pervs!) I can borrow hers. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I had the Ovation Concert Classical also, and I really liked it. The only problem was that it was a bit cumbersome and heavy compared to a traditional concert classical guitar. This is probably the one and only case in which I chose a square back over the Ovation. Primarily because the one guitar I keep near the bed to play in the dark at bedtime is my classical. I can fall asleep with a traditional lightweight classical across my body, but that round deep bowl just wants to slide away when I doze off. I just wish I could afford to have a custom high-quality classical guitar(Jose Ramirez)made with a narrower nutwidth. |

Location: NW Washington State | Way too high. You could find a nice one a year or two ago for a couple hundred less. Makes no sense to pay that much this year. Maybe this shows the power of an endorsement on the OFC. Or that eBay auctions are completely unpredictable. |

That price was a bit high for what we have all seen in the past, but everyone here knows that all of the old USA Ovations are usually way under priced for what they are. Maybe people are starting to get wise to the secret? |
