I LOVE quilted maple. I love the nutmeg finish. I see nothing I dislike about this guitar. (Except the price....'cause I'm nearly busted right now....dangit....)
Somebody buy this........so I can buy it from you later.

You know what GAS is like by now....this is all about WANT, "need" has nothing to do with it. |

You're right! I need a 87C-4, a 1763, Adamas I & II then I'm done, really.
I have got a little more clearer about what I like and don't like as players guitars from actually owning and playing (and then selling) a lot of the Ovation range.
For example the 01C looked gorgeous but couldn't 'compete' with say the 07C so out it went. I personally think having a smaller 'palette' to choose from works best for me.
I say get it, look at it, enjoy owning it but most important of all play it! |

Also, sorry for the ignorance, but Long and McQuade is a music store? (So says Google) So these were a special order thing like the Sweetwater T's? |

Location: Rocky River, Ohio | I think Ovation was making these during the last open house in 2007.
I saw the quilt on a few Elite bodies, so I asked Rick, and he said they were limited editions.
He didn't say anything about Long and McQuade though.
I have to dig up my pics, I think I took pics of it.. |
