Location: Connecticut | In January I bought my first an Applause AE148.
Nice and enjoy it but wanted a little better guitar with a deeper sound. Last month I purchased a 2778ax standard elite. It has the contour body. Wasn't sure if I'd like that but I do.
Sound is deep unlike the shallow bowl sound on the AE148.
I'm really a bass player and enjoy the deeper sounds. Very easy to make adjustments to either guitar. Sound is very good acoustic and through a small fender princeton amp I picked up.
Enjoying playing again as it's been a few years since I played in a band. Actually quite a few. ;) |
