6778lx NEB 1996 model, as new OP Pro and OHSC $550 shipped conus

6868 Elite Vintage burst... awesome sb elite, natural neck... $450 shipped conus

1778t-5Black as new OP Pro and OHSC
$550 shipped conus

1615-4 12 string slothead, fet3 volume only preamp, crack baby, middle seam bridge to binding, other than that very playable and in good condition with OHSC $350 shipped conus
Boomer!!! action a little high at the 12th.. no bridge lift or other major cosmetic issues.

M-862-5 midi Balladeer and Shadow/Charvel/Ovation decoder unit, footboard, midi cables, stereo cable and quickstart guide and OHSC I have been able to get this to operate in midi about 4 or 5 times successfully... but am extremely midi challenged and the Charvel box is not exactly plug and play... operates just fine through the OP 24, and can get the signals to the midi unit, but sometimes works, sometimes not.... but all I have is the quickstart guide and no complete documentation for the midi pickups or decoder made by Shadow of Germany. Nice SSB Ovation plugged in, but with all the midi hardware stuffed inside, not much tone unless plugged in.... top of midi/op 24 selector switch is missing, and original nickel tuner buttons have been replaced with mini pearloids... guitar is in fair to good condition as is the rack box, case, and pedal...

Rare Ovation guitar and correct midi gear.... not one of their better sellers... steep learning curve on midi setup and implementation.... or I'm just an idiot..$400 shipped conus.

1983 1651 Legend Limited(Lennon) Stereo, darkest top I've ever seen on a 1651, it's same color as the peghead and That's Walnut, It is as dark as all of the bicentennials I've ever seen... (NO FINISH CRACKS), but the guitar has been kept too dry for too long... so has some concave to it...and minor neck dive... it's playble with no problems to about the 13th fret and then starts to buzz/fret out
Im hoping to be able to re-humifiy it and bring it back slowly without cracking the cyano/finish in the process... some cracks in the neck binding but all are stable and solid, and the electronics work both in mono and stereo mode.. tone works fine, stacked tone/vol... volume pot is on permanent spin, and is at about a 5-6 output setting doesn't change..if I can flatten the top out with some careful humidification
al would like to get $500 shipped for it...

help and advice on slowly and carefully rejuvenating a guitar top on a vintage cyano acrylate topped ovation requested on the other board...

my gear up in a few.... pictures available on request.

These will all be going up on E-bay in the next 48 hours... except the 1651 if I can get the top to flatten back out without cracking the S#!+ out of it....

Thanks,

Glenn Hess, and Al Segen

What do you need to know about filling dings with super glue? I've don it, so its not that hard.

no dings or cracks in top to fill, but guitar has been kept at too low humidity for too long and top is slightly concaving/wavy and a little neck dive at the rosette...

I don't want to bring the humidity/pliability of the top/bracing up too fast or the old (heavy) finish is most probably going to split and crack like crazy as the top expands back out...it will probably crack anyway when re-humidified but would like to keep it to a minimum.

I've done some cya fills on dings and finish cracks... just trying to avoid having to on this one.

Thanks,

Glenn

There is a GC 1618 on ebay right now, how would these compare in general?

1618 will most probably have gold plated hardware, bound neck, and separate stacked tone/vol preamp. and Glen Campbell's signature on the truss rod cover

the 1615 is a little more spartan, nickel hardware, volume only fet 3 preamp, but is essentially the same guitar, with just more bling and color on the GC... they are both boomer 12s.. 350 shipped conus with OHSC..... don't know what shipping to Taiwan would be though, but it's a great deal on a very nice vintage 12. you can't go wrong with either model, Al's 1615 is a player, and not a collector's piece... but will give you all the jangle and rumble you could possibly want from an O 12 string.

I think I'll have to wait until next year when i will be back in the US for longer. At this point I would have to rush to make things happen. Thanks for you input.

For getting out the warp in the top, try keeping a humidifier in the case for a couple of weeks before putting on the glue.

You got some nice gear there. Good luck.

OK, here's the geek gear... it's a dual boot DAW workstation running both xp pro, and vista business, it has a digital tv tuner in it, emu 0404 daw card for audio recording and production, works like a tivo for you, and as a media server for your whole home network... the dvd drives are new, the buffallo linkstation is new, and all software is freshly loaded and legal... it's a dvi dual monitor system with a high end cad/cam video board that works very well for gaming as well... if anyone wants a great multimedia system that they can lay some tracks and effects down on as well this one is pretty nice... I'll offer 1 year of service/support on it to any member here if they buy the entire system, and knock $100 off the BIN for OFC members. all cd's and software backups are included. Compaq Dual 2.8xeon dual core workstation for Audio/Video Production + extras

Thanks, I need to sell this to finish paying for my 1779.... it's a great computer and does everything but make your coffee for you or change your shorts.
