I'm playing iffy's 1680, he's got my Martin OM-18V
Applying anti-skip strips for iffy,(you know how he is when he leaves the flatlands of Florida for the hills of Tennessee). :D

Location: East Tennessee | Oh Crap.. I was lusting over guitars in the For Sale section while the photos were uploading on Photobucket. Forgot to go to general posting.
Also posted two of the same pic. I don't know if Al or Miles can move this to the general section.
Here's the 3rd pic I meant to upload.

BTW; The 1680 is one of the best sounding Adamas guitars I've played. The other would be Musicmike's 47RI. |

Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | Well Mike, my pics didn't come out, flash batts!
Mike's Martin is so sweet sounding and tonally even across the strings. It has a slight 'V' neck and plays like a dream. But the 1680 definitely took volume honors.
Mike tried my 2078T Elite 'Sweet T' first and I'll let him tell his impression. But once he played the 1680, I didn't get it back until near the end of the visit.
Now I gotta say that he's welcome to my fireside anytime. He has a story for each song and sings with a comfortable, easy style. One day I want to grow up and be like him.
His lovely bride, Kathy, thoughtfully brought a delicious coffee cake up to the cabin for our dessert and none of it went back home with Mike.
Thanx Mike and Kathy for all of your kind and thoughtful hospitality! That's not counting the sole gripping gifts...
Just chalk up another totally enjoyable OFC 'gathering'. Big or small, they're all a ball! |
